Sacramento Superior Court, CA
Home MenuParking Information
There are two designated free parking lots for reporting jurors:
You must display a current jury parking permit (located on the side of the summons postcard) on your vehicle dashboard. If you need a current parking permit, please see the jury staff in the Jury Assembly Room.
Please note: Juror parking permits are valid Monday-Friday until 5 p.m. Parking in the St. Joseph's Jury Lot or Lot 297 after 5 p.m. will be at the juror's expense.
Jury Overflow Parking
Overflow parking is available at the County Public Parking Lot (two-story garage) at 7th and G Streets. This garage is only available when both designated jury parking lots are full. You must present your parking ticket to the Jury Assembly Room staff for validation before exiting the parking lot.
Bicycle Parking
A secure bicycle parking cage is available if you ride to and from the courthouse for jury service. Secure bicycle parking requires a $5 (cash only) refundable deposit. Check in with the lot attendant and present your juror badge. You will be issued a key card to access the bicycle cage. Return the key card to the parking lot attendant at the end of your jury service, and your $5 cash deposit will be refunded. The secured bicycle parking cage is located in the Sacramento County garage at 725 7th Street at the northeast corner of 7th and H streets.
Public Transportation
If you wish to use public transportation to get to and from the courthouse for jury service, purchase a single-pass ticket, and jury staff will provide a replacement ticket and a return fare ticket. Ride Sacramento Regional Transit (RT) and eliminate the hassles of fighting traffic congestion, finding a parking spot, and buying gas when you're on jury duty. Some RT park and ride lots now require that you pay $1-$2 to park there for the day. The jury office is not able to reimburse the parking fee.
To find your public transportation route or ask about RT’s bus and light rail service, contact RT’s customer service representative for help planning trips to and from the courthouse. Call 916-321-BUSS (2877) or for the hearing impaired, 916-483-HEAR (4327) or visit Sacramento Regional Transit for additional information.
